All Weapons in Alan Wake 2 Ranked From Best to Worst
The pen may be mightier than the sword, but how about this big gun?
Like theNight Springs DLC, there are plenty of secrets and mysteries in this one, too, including the various computer code puzzles you need to solve.

There are five computer codes in total, and if you’re a completionist like me,solving all of them is imperative as it will award you the “Hard Work” Trophy/Achievement.
Despite being a short-length DLC, you may easily lose track of these computer code puzzles or their location, but we’re here to help alleviate that with their exact solutions and where to find them.

Dr Marmont’s Office, Ground Floor
Your first computer puzzle is inDr Jules Marmont’s officeon the ground floor of the Lakehouse facility.
The entrance to the Lakehouse through which you set foot is on the same floor, so it’s impossible to miss this one.

A map of the entire Lakehouse and its different underground floors is on a table just outside Dr Jules' office. We highly advise you to pick it up if you miss it.
Here, you’ll be introduced to solving these six-digit access codes and gathering clues from your surroundings to complete the puzzle.

Now, if you like getting to the bottom of these kinds of puzzles yourself, that’s understandable.
We’ll add the correct code at the end of each sectionif you want to skip this and the rest, but here’s how you can actually solve this puzzle.
Right near the computer on the desk, you can find anFBC documentthat we’ll see reappear in a couple of more places throughout the facility.
It actually gives us a hint about these numerical passwords.
The staff members change these passwords regularly.
To avoid forgetting them, they use apermanent set of digits in the first half, with the latter ones changing daily.
To decipher the code, check the back of the room to inspect a wall with a portrait of Jules and his wife, Diana.
Below that portrait, another collectible tells us the first four digits of the code, which is themonth and date Jules and Diana were authorized as co-heads of the Lakehouse: July 18.
For the final two digits, head back to where the document on the desk states the code instructions to the employees.
you’re able to find a calendar here that mentions the scientific fact of the day: Hedy Lamarr created a frequency-hopping device atage 38.
Now, just input the code on the computer in Jules' office:071838

South Cell At Holding And Observation, Sublevel 2
The next computer code puzzle is in the central area of this floor, between the bottom holding cells.
Take notice of the Taken enemies here in the inaccessible rooms, and don’t worry. They won’t attack just yet since you’ll need to disable a lockdown procedure to unlock these rooms.
you may also chat with anon-hostile NPC here, Ed Booker,a playwright tasked with the project behind replicating Alan Wake’s writing style.
Unlike the previous puzzle (and another one shortly after this), you do not need to track down clues or collectibles to make out the password.
The code is pretty simple and is written on asticky note next to the computer screen to type out: 123456.
Control Center, Sublevel 2
From the map where you unlocked the previous computer, head toward the left while ignoring the enemies in the locked rooms for a moment.
Cracking open the next computer puzzle is mandatory, as you need it tolower the lockdown procedure and regain access to the main elevator.
Be sure to pick up thelevel 2 Security Clearance cardfrom the corpse next to the computer.
Look to the side and use your newly acquired keycard on the door to unlock a room.
A Taken will attempt to ambush you as soon as you enter the room, so be ready to take him down.
The first four digits of the code correspond to the wedding anniversary of two staff members, noticeable on a collectible in the room.
The wedding anniversary is a week from Friday, and upon glancing at the nearby calendar, you can make out the exact date: September 22.
For the last two digits, check the accessible computer in the room, which has an email titled “Today’s Password.”
It states that the code for the locked computer is theanniversary date plus “Brown Shape with Horns.”
Next to the control room computer, there’s a list of Rudolph Lane’s painting experiments.
Scroll down to see the “Brown Shape with Horns” tagged with thevalue of 25.
Input the code to the locked computer in the control room:092225

Dr Diane’s Office At Research Archives, Sublevel 4
After obtaining the Black Rock Launcher and your shiny new Clearance 3 card, head to sublevel 4.
There’s amaze-like section here filled with painted enemiesthat can ambush you anytime, along with Taken partway through it.
Take your time with it; this is the last enemy encounter before the final boss fight on sublevel 5.
Once you emerge from it, you can finally come across Dr. Diane’s office in the dead center of the floor.
This is where you find the last computer puzzle of this DLC.
Wouldn’t you know? The password is again given to you as a freebieat the expense of Diane’s growing disdain for her husband.
