Ezreal is one of the oldest ADCs in League of Legends; however, I often find myself asking the question: “Can I use my R while doing something.” I decided to create a guide and analyze most of the possible interactions of Ezreal’s Ultimate Ability during the standard League of Legends game.
Ezreal’s Ultimate - Basic Information
First of all, let’s just set up some basics and information about how Ezreal’s ultimate ability -Trueshot Barrageworks. It dealsmagic damageto enemies and scales with bothAD(Attack Damage) andAP(Ability Power). This ability cannot critically strike. It deals lower damage to minions and monsters by 50%. It is a global ability, meaning you can snipe a champion from across the map. It deals a lot of damage and can turn the team fight’s outcome pretty quickly.
Ezreal’s Ultimate Interactions
First interactions that allow you to use your ultimate while under the effect of these skills or items. What’s interesting is it doesn’t work with most of the items. You just cannot use them while casting your ultimate.

If you Flash while casting your ultimate, you will move immediately to the location that you flashed. Fortunately, you will still cast Trueshot Barrage from the place you were standing before flashing. It makes for a great mechanic that can allow you to dodge incoming skill shots aimed at you while still casting your ultimate and confusing enemies in the process.
Does NOT work with:
Ezreal’s Ultimate is achanneledability, but it does not get interrupted by most hardCC. I will list theCrowd Controlthatdoes notinterruptTrueshot Barrage.
Some skills do interrupt Ezreal’s Ultimate. Abilities likeSpell Shieldor items likeBansheewill block Trueshot Barrage, so be careful. Some of the skills that can block your ultimate are:
