The newest update on theBloodstained Ritual of the Nightkickstarter page expressed how they will no longer support a Linux and Mac version of the game on PC. This update follows a delay of the title to 2019, and the previouscancellation of its Vita version.
Bloodstained Ritual of the Night: No Longer Supports Linux & Mac
Those who backedBloodstained: Ritual of the Nightand chose a Linux and Mac version can email the team via the kickstarter page to change their platform.
We have made this tough decision due to challenges of supporting middleware and online feature support and making sure we deliver on the rest of the scope for the game.
The team also provide an update on the development of the game stating it has “reached its peak” and currently testing the performance of the game on each platform. With enemy placements finalized, the development team is now focusing on fixing bugs and ironing out any remaining issues.
The game is still slated for a 2019 release for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
