While the launch forDauntlessmaybe a couple months away, players now have the opportunity to test out the game early, thanks to the title going into closed beta very recently.

Developer for the cooperative action-RPG Monster Hunter-like game:Phoenix Labs, mentions that the closed beta will “build upon” the game’s live service with regular updates and content such as:
Players can gain access into the closed beta by purchasing one of theFounder’s Packsfrom the game’s official website, with each pack containing an assortment of in-game items to use.

At $40, players are granted “Champion Status” for 90 days, increasing Behemoth drop rates as well as:
At $70, theHero Packwill contain all of the aforementioned items but with the addition of 10 ‘Chromo Cores’ to dye your gear and 10 ‘Transmog Stones’ to alter your gear’s appearance while retaining its stats.

This weekend atPAX Westin Seattle, Phoenix Labs will be featuring a hands-on demo of theDauntlessclosed beta at its booth. Phoenix promises exclusive rewards and access to the closed beta to players who can “emerge victorious from battle”.
Although a release date has yet to be given, Phoenix Labs has stated thatDauntlesswill launch as a free-to-play downloadable title sometime within 2017. Also, an open beta for the game is currently being planned.
