Bandai Namco have drummed up a rather unusual promotion for the launch of Code Vein during Twitchcon San Diego in collaboration with the American Red Cross.
Donate Blood for a Copy of Code Vein at Twitchcon
Your eyes do not deceive you as yes the title does read correctly, Bandai Namco are out for blood…TwitchCon goers specifically. Promoting the launch of the their modern vampire titleCode Vein, they’re encouraging Twitchcon goers to donate they’re blood, in exchange for a copy of Code Vein and a “promo blood kit”. The blood drive will be held on September 27th the release date for Code Vein, running from 10 a.m. to 4.p.m. in San Diego’s Gaslamp Square.
The Lost aren’t the only ones who need your blood! On September 27th, celebrate the#CODEVEINlaunch by donating blood to those in need.

Namco have instructed those who are willing donate to register on theAmerican Red Crosswebsite to pre-register, but at this time of releasing this article there are no more appointments left.
While you could say it worked since there are no remaining appointments, the whole thing sounds rather strange. But it’s for a good cause as according to theAmerican Red Cross"every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood" and this will go towards those who really need it.
