There have always beenStar WarsTwitter parody accounts. But not quite like these. WhileTR-8R, the baton-wieldingStormtrooperwho faces off against Finn atMaz Kanata’s castle, has been enjoying some Internet notoriety with an ocean full of memes, it’s really three Twitter accounts that have caught everyone off guard. They are hilarious. And offer an accurate view into the lives of Kylo Ren and the hermit exile LukeSkywalkeras we’ve come to know them inStar Wars: The Force Awakens.
There are two new prominent joke Twitter accounts that are quickly accumulating followers. It starts with@emo_kyloand continues withVeryLonelyLuke. They have since been joined by the second Knights of Ren accountKylo3n, which continues the notion that Ben Solo is a very bothered goth kid who just ran out of conditioner.

Beware. If you have not seenStar Wars: The Force Awakensyet, there will beSpoilersfor the movie. By the end of this long awaited sequel, we finally know the true identity of Kylo Ren. The new villain is played byGirlsstarAdam Driver, a former Jedi pupil of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker who turned to the Dark Side. He began his journey as Ben Solo. He’s the son of Han Solo and General Leia. A lanky, raven-haired child of the Force, he wears all black and sometimes hides behind a mask. And his locks are luxurious. It’s not hard to imagine the younger Ben shopping at Hot Topic for all the latest Goth trends. And the best shampoo. Which is where most of these jokes draw their humor from.
Then we have Luke Skywalker. Taking a page from the Yoda playbook, he’s placed himself in exile after Kylo and the Knights of Ren killed all of his young Jedi students (never called Padawans in the film for good reason).VeryLonelyLukefollows the troubled Jedi master’s remote and lonely existence protecting the ancient Jedi temple, where Rey finds him at the end ofStar Wars: The Force Awakens. This Twitter parody account draws us into his fortress of solitude, where we learn more about his daily routine.

And even though Han Solo may have been killed at the hands of his own son, Ben, that hasn’t stopped the old space pirate from getting in the final word. Because, yes, there is also aBadFatherHanparody account, which finds that Solo has had just about enough of his ungrateful son’s petulance. We’ve collected the best of these accounts for you to read here.
