Apple designed the iOSHome screensuch that you could scroll through pages of app icons, but there’s always been a single row of non-scrollable, static app icons near the bottom of thedisplay, more commonly referred to as theDock.

Love it or hate it, the Dock is a staple inApple’s desktop and mobile operating systems, but a new freejailbreak tweakcalledFullboardby iOS developerHeft Johnsonlets you nix it entirely, instead transforming the full height of the Home screen into a scrollable interface.

In case you’re wondering what this setup might look like, we’ve embedded an animatedGIFexample below:

As you can see here, the Dock is no more; the icons that used to live in the Dock have become a part of the scrollable Home Screen. You’ll also notice that Fullboard spaces your app icons out a bit more, and this is because it doesn’t substitute the missing Dock with another row of scrollable icons (but we wish it did).

Less obvious is the fact that Fullboard hides the page dots from the Home screen for a cleaner aesthetic and enables landscape orientation on unsupported devices, such as non-Plus-sized handsets like theiPhone6, 6s, 7, 8, and X.

At the time of this writing, Fullboard doesn’t have any options to configure. That said, it makes all the changes discussed above with no way of toggling them on or off without uninstalling the tweak. Then again, if you enjoy full-screen experiences, then you probably won’t want to disable anything in the first place.

Fullboard supports alljailbrokeniOS 11devices, and if you meet the criteria and want to give it a shot, then you can download it for free from Heft Johnson’s beta repository inCydia.

If you aren’t already using Heft Johnson’s beta repository, then you canfollow our step-by-step tutorial comprising of how to add it to Cydia. The repository URL is as follows:

Note: Be mindful of what you install from third-party repositories such as this one. This review can only speak for the functio of the tweak mentioned above.
