Fable Revival on the Works
A report byEurogamerseems to show theLegend Never Diesas developerPlayground Gameshas been appointed to revive the franchise, albeit the new title isn’t Fable Legends. Those who play on the Xbox console should know this name as they made Xbox’s great selling series, Forza Horizons. The new title is still very much in the early stages of development as the core team to be working on it is being finalized. Expect to see more of this in several years if the sources are true, as projects often go quiet after initial early leaks.
The newFabletitle will be a story driven open world action role-playing game. Perhaps Microsoft is hoping to have yet another great exclusive game to add to their list and to revisit the single player focus games that still can be impactful, if done right. PS4’s exclusive titleHorizon: Zero Dawndeveloped by Guerrilla Games and Nintendo Switch’s exclusive title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are some prime examples of single player games done properly.
