In Grounded 2, there are many hidden chests you may find and open to get rare items. One of them is the Frostbitten Chest, which requires you first to find the Frostbitten Key. No quest directly leads to either of these, so it’s entirely up to players to discover them while exploring.
Unfortunately, it’s easy to miss either since they are hidden in hard-to-find areas. To save you time, here is how to obtain the Frostbitten Key and open the hidden chest using it.

Obtaining the Frostbitten Key in Grounded 2
The Frostbitten Key is located near a corpse in the Ice Cream Cart zone,which is always freezing. Due to the snow, you’ll need armor and items that protect against the freezing debuff. Here’s everything you’ll need before heading out to get the Frostbitten Key:
Once you have all these items, go to the southern side of the fallen ice cream cart. From there, follow these steps to get the Frostbitten Key:

Unlocking the Frostbitten Chest in Grounded 2
Now that you have the key, return to the entrance and follow the same path that leads to theIce Sicklesin this area. In that chamber, you’ll see a glimmer on the ground just across the entrance. Go there and dig up the Frostbitten Chest to use the key and claim 2 Mint Globs. You can use these Mint Globs to craft a second set of Ice Sickles if you’ve completed the challenge to obtain them.
