The rich and wonderful world of theZeldaseries provides players with a vast wealth of lore and intrigue to work with. Fan fiction, cosplay, and merchandise come pouring from Miyamoto’s creation. As more games are released and the plot thickens, more and more questions are both raisedand answeredby avid fans. Theories and rumors spin around the forums and message boards, only giving more substance to the world of Hyrule and beyond. Some questions are huge and may never be answered, but some, like ours today, are a little simpler to answer with a bit of comparison. So, how tall is Link inTears of The Kingdom?
How tall is Link inTears of The Kingdom?
The first thing to do is take a look at the tallest Link. This will, without a doubt, be Giant Mask Link from Majoras Mask. He stands at a staggering 40 feet and 6 inches. It would have made all the other games so much more simple if he had just kept this height rather than the tiny little guy he usually is. No more stamina bar when you can just jump up the side of a mountain.
Then we have the shortest Link. This will be his role in The Minish Cap, in which he transforms into one of the Minish people. This allows him to explore the world of Hyrule from their perspective. He drops all the way down to only 2 feet tall in this game. There is no way Link is close to this tall inTears of The Kingdom. I wonder if he suffers from growing pains as well as shrinking pains?

Now, to work out how tall Link is inTears of The Kingdom, complex maths and comparison is needed. We know he can’t be taller or shorter than our outliers, so where in between does he stand? He has always been a little guy, being based on Tolkien’s Hobbits. Also, he stands significantly shorter than most other NPCs.
The maths has been done. It turns out he sits at a very unremarkable 5 feet and 2 inches tall. This comparison was made using pixel comparison inBreath of The Wildby the fans.Tears of The Kingdomis set just after the previous game. So, unless he has hit some kind of growth spurt, I think it’s fair to say Link is probably just as tall inTears of The Kingdom.
