In Dune: Spice Wars, Hegemony represents a Faction’s overall control and power over Dune. It is calculated by your Faction’s performance in various aspects of the game. Each Faction in the game starts with specific Faction Bonuses, and new ones are unlocked after reaching certain Hegemony Thresholds. Players will unlock their Faction’s Main Base at 2k Hegemony, and further Faction Bonuses will unlock at 5k and 10k respectively.
Hegemony depends on several factors like the number ofsupported Resolutions passed, number ofRegions controlled, dominance overSpecial Regions, allySietches,Chartersacquired, enemy units defeated,Landsraad Standing,CHAOMshares, and the number ofCraft Workshopsconstructed. To gain Hegemony quickly, you will need to focus on all of the aforementioned aspects. Since it is the overall power of your Faction, players need to strategically position their Faction to increase Hegemony.
