There are a lot of items to get inSons of the Forestsuch as firearms, flashlights, and even new modes of transportation. For the latter, you may be interested in tracking down the Hang Glider. It’s a useful tool inSons of the Forestfor getting around, but only if you know where to find it. Here’s our guide on how to get the Hang Glider inSons of the Forest.
Where to get the Hang Glider inSons of the Forest
You can find the Hang Glider easily inSons of the Forestin multiple locations on the island. One of them is outside one of the caves in the south of the map. You can see the precise location in the image below.
You originally start on the north of the island, and luckily there seems to be more than one location for the Hang Glider to spawn. There’s at least two other spawn locations on the north of the island, which you can see in the image below. There are probably more scattered around the game world, too.

Once you do get the Hang Glider inSons of the Forest, it should be a breeze to get around. All you have to do is find your nearest steep drop, equip the Hang Glider, and jump off. The device let you glide across the island with ease and a shocking amount of speed. You should be able to get around the island incredibly quickly using this, so if you are stationed up north, at least you can get back there very quickly.
A note about the Hang Glider
One thing to note about the Hang Glider inSons of the Forestis that you cannot pick it up and put it in your inventory. You can only use it from interacting with it in the world. This means that if you die while it’s not at camp, you might lose it for good unless you know exactly where you lost it. There are, as mentioned, more than one Hang Glider inSons of the Forest, so it shouldn’t be too big of a problem.
Sons of the Forestis available onSteam.
