How to level up in AFK Journey
Resources are the name of the game when it comes to leveling up your team in AFK Journey. To climb the ranks quickly, you will need to collect five separate items from various points and challenges on the map. These can be a chore to collect unless you know where to find them. To level up in AFK Journey, you will need:
When you enter your Resonating Hall, you’re able to select any one of your characters in your deck to level up. Hovering over the level-up button will tell you what resources you need to strengthen them. If you have enough, you can go ahead. Leveling up your whole team to a certain level will also reflect on all the rest of the characters not in your squad, reducing the need for even more resources.
Where to find resources in AFK Journey
Leveling up in AFK Journey is going to take a lot of resources, especially if you want to do it fast. This is where the game may take time. However, each resource has a place I found that I could get it much quicker.
Gold, Experience & Essence
The first place you will find Gold, Experience, and Essence is through questlines and in various battles. However, I found the best way to earn both is through the AFK Stages you unlock. The best thing about the AFK Progress stages is that they will passively earn you both Gold, Experience, and Essence while you’re not playing.
Head into the AFK Progress event at the bottom left of the screen. Here, you will find the option to pit your team against waves of enemies. The further you progress, the more rewards you will win per battle. However, the real moneymaker is the chest outside of the battles.The further you progress through the combat levels, the quicker it will fill with resources while you’re away.
I would recommend fighting as far as your team is able as often as possible in the AFK Progress. This will result in a lot of passive income in the game.
Acorns & Dupes
These two resources are slightly harder to find around AFK Journey but are essential to leveling up. By Ascending, the character unlocks a whole new move and has a significant boost to their stats. When you get your hands onthe best characters in AFK Journey, you’ll want to push them to the limit.
Themain way you will get both Dupes and Acorns is through the Invite Lettersyou open throughout the game. You will mostly find these throughout the map as you take part in the battles and quests. They will be slow to earn but are essential to leveling up in AFK Journey. I found that I gotthe most Acorns through the Legend Trialgame mode.
Duplicates of heroes will be gained whenever you send out an Invite Letter, and it is answered by someone you already have on your team. If you are looking for a specific hero, you may use the Hero Wish List in the Nobel Tavern. This will raise your chances of getting duplicates of the hero you want to level up fast in AFK Journey.
