Choosing the rightdialogue choicesduring cutscenes, completingside questswith certain characters, and performingSynergy attacksduring combat will all increase relationship levels between party members in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

You can view your relationship with a party member at any time bypressing the L1 button. This will makesmiley face iconsappear above everyone’s heads. As your bonds deepen, the circle surrounding the icon will continue to fill up. When you do something to make your bonds stronger during gameplay, anotificationwill pop on the right-hand side of the screen stating that your relationship with a character has changed.

If you want to increase your relationship with a certain character so you cantake them on a datelater in the game, then you should do all of the side content associated with them. If you find an odd job or a side quest that your favorite character has some dialogue about, then you should probably do it to strengthen your bond.

Does Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Have Romance?

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth doesn’t have a traditional romance system that you’d find in other RPGs, but romance is still a huge part of the game. Thedate at the Gold Saucerfrom the original game has been greatly enhanced in Rebirth, so much so that you’ll spend the majority of the game building up your relationships with each party member to prepare for that moment.
