There’s so much content crammed into the Fortnite map it’s hard to keep track of it all. If you’re on the challenge grind, let me show you how to start and complete a vehicle SHADOW briefing in Fortnite.

What is a vehicle SHADOW briefing in Fortnite?

Vehicle SHADOW briefings function similarly toregular SHADOW briefingsbut require you tocomplete them with a specific vehicle. I’m unsure how many different tasks there are, but mine have all been to drive a short distance with a particular vehicle.

When you accept a vehicle SHADOW briefing, a car will drop from a rift close by, and you’ll have a straightforward mission to complete. You have to finish the task in this specific vehicle. These tasks are worth doing even without a challenge tied to them, as you earn Gold with little effort.

How to find a vehicle SHADOW briefing in Fortnite

SHADOW briefings of any kind never show up on the map, soyou’ll have to go on a hunt to find them. Vehicle SHADOW briefings always appear near a few bollards on the roadside (pictured above). you’re able to hunt for these briefing stations by driving around the map.

I tend to find the briefings on the roadsjust north of Restored Reels, but you’re able to find them elsewhere, too.

Once you’ve found a briefing station, interact with it, and you must wait a few seconds for the vehicle to spawn. Fortunately, you get to keep the car after you’ve completed the challenge, so these tasks are a great way to get some wheels if you’re in a pinch.

The cars can even show up withvehicle modspreinstalled, which is a game-changer in Chapter 5, Season 3.
