Kevin Costner’s The Westwill be an eight-episode documentary. The series will premiere on the History Channel on May 26, with the first two episodes airing back-to-back. When Will ‘Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2’ Be Released?

Kevin Costner’s The Westwill tide fans over until the second installment in theactor/director’sHorizonsagais eventually released. The film was slated for theatrical release last Fall. However, afterChapter 1’s disappointing box office, the sequel was shelved indefinitely.

Some lucky members of the press have already seenHorizon - Chapter 2, as the film held its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September 2024. It also screened this February at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Fans were hoping that its recent film festival rounds would entice a new distributor to release the sequel in theaters, especially followingChapter 1’s success on streaming.However, fans are still twiddling their thumbs waiting for a release date forChapter 2, if it ever comes.
