First major update for Monster Hunter World Iceborne will add a new region to the Guiding Lands.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne First Major Update Adds Volcanic Region
A recent event listing on Playstation 4 has unveiled details of the first major update for the Monster Hunter World Iceborne expansion. Capcom has already revealed that the update would bring the anew huntable monster Rajang. However, the event listing also shares that there will be a new “Volcanic region” in theGuiding Lands, which was highlighted byGematsu.
We did get a quick peek of a volcanic area in theRajang trailer, but this confirms a new explorable area is also coming for hunters to gather materials. Players will also receive the Rajang Clawspendantfrom completing the Admiral’s quest.

In the first free update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, hunters will be tasked with tangling with the fearsomeRajangin a new special assignment.
Complete the quests given to you by the Admiral to receive a special Rajang Claws pendant.

In addition, there’s more to explore in the Guiding Lands as a new Volcanic region appears. Delve deep into this new region to obtain materials to further customize your weapons and armor!
And that’s not all! You’ll now be able to hang out with other players in your room! use the new music player to change the music in your room and show off your favorite equipment with the all new equipment display.

Capcom last month shared aroadmap of updates for Iceborne, with the first major update arriving onOctober 10thon Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
Monster Hunter World Iceborneis available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, with PC arriving in January 2020.
