Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the first look at the new lineup for the Playstation Plus subscription service which now includes new tiers.
New Playstation Plus Lineup of Games Includes Demon’s Soul, Ghost of Tsushima and More
Playstation Plus is heading to Asia first on May 23rd, with Japan gaining the new update service on June 1st, June 13th in the Americas and June 22nd for Europe. This will be the first month of the revamped subscription service, gaining new tiers introducing Playstation Plus Essential, Playstation Plus Extra and Playstation Plus Premium.

PS Plus Essential: $9.99 monthly / $24.99 quarterly / $59.99 yearly
PS Plus Extra: $14.99 monthly / $39.99 quarterly / $99.99 yearly
PS Plus Premium/Deluxe: $17.99 monthly / $49.99 quarterly / $119.99 yearly
The shakeup to PS Plus looks to rival Game Pass which already has quite an extensive offering of games not only on Xbox but PC too. The new tiers add further options for those who want some classic titles, so maybe worth it for those looking to relive some Playstation, Playstation 2 or even Playstation 3 titles.

Classic Games Catalog – Remasters
Playstation 3 Titles Available via Streaming for Premium Plan
Further titles are also available for Premium members via streaming. These include a number of PS3 titles such as Demon’s Souls (the original version), the Devil May Cry HD Collection, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and more.
Time-Limited Game Trials
Available only for the Premium/Deluxe plan, Playstation Plus members can also access a number of time-limited trials, so you check out the game before you buy. The full game can be accessible for up to two hours of playtime, with all trophies and game save data carrying over if you decided to buy.
More To Come
New titles will be added on the regular with Playstation Plus Essential and higher tiers will gain new additions on the first Tuesday of the month, which is similar to the original PS Plus offering. As for Plus Extra, and Premium/Deluxe, these tiers will get extra monthly additions in the middle of the month.
