Character creation in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous can be daunting at first. Thankfully, you don’t need to be restricted when it comes to your choices. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous guide to help you respec or retrain your characters.
How to respec/retrain characters in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
If you want to take your character in a different direction, respecing is available not just for your character, but for your party members as well.you may respec or retrain your characters in Pathfinder WOTR byspeaking to Hilor.
Depending on which Act you’re currently in, Hilor can be spotted in different areas. Before you go find Hilor, make sure you’ve switched on “Enable character retrain” in your difficulty settings. If you’re on a much higher difficulty, this option may not be available, so check to see if it’s enabled.

After first creating your character and getting into the main campaign your group will eventually arrive in theGray Garrison. The party will fight a demoness called Minagho after many battles and grabbing lots of loot. You can’t win this encounter, and your character wakes up inDefender’s Rest, which is where Hilor is.
Head to the war room in the corner and speak to Hilor, choosing the option “My companions and I need good training.” If you’re not in Act 1 anymore, here are all the other locations Hilor will be at:

Pay the fee and you may then select your main character or anyone in your party to be retrained. For your main character, everything will be reset, so you’re free to change yourappearance, class, skill points, feats, and so on.
For your companions, things can be a little trickier.Everything is reset only up to the point when you first recruited your companion. For instance, Seelah, Camellia, Lann, and maybe Wenduag will always be at low levels since that’s how you encountered them by default.
This gives you more leeway to change their classes or gain different spells. It’s different for companions who get recruited much later in the campaign. If they’re already at level six or higher by default, it’s harder to tweak them accordingly.
After completing the campaign, Hilor will always be at the Drezen Inn, so return to him if you’re attempting to respec and try out any of the newArchetypes from A Dance of MasksDLC.
