Moreover, he might even portray Dr. Doom, the rumored antagonist, but nothing has been confirmed by either side as of yet.

But according toTHR, sources, “scheduling is a factor” in whether the contract will succeed, and it is unclear how the negotiations are going right now forThe Last of Usstar. Nevertheless, Marvel refrained from commenting.
Pascal’s casting would give Marvel a well-known and popular star in theFantastic Fourfranchise as it looks to expand beyond the stable of actors, capping more than a year of intense speculation about the cast. He is the star of Disney+’sThe Mandalorianand the critically acclaimed HBO seriesThe Last of Us, which is currently working on a second season. Aside from that, he has other notable roles inKingsman: The Golden CircleandWonder Woman 1984.

Who is Reed Richards?
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Reed Richards, a superhero, scientist, and inventor, is regarded as one of the most intelligent creatures in Marvel comic books. He is an expert in all branches of science, including physics, electronics, biology, chemistry, mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering.
Richards was subjected to high doses of cosmic radiation along with his closest friend Ben Grimm, then-girlfriend Sue Storm, and her younger brother Johnny Storm while traveling through space in the rocket, the Marvel-1. The radiation changed him and his friends, giving him the power to bend and sculpt his body in any way he chose. That’s how these four made up the Fantastic Four together.

The actors who played the roles were Miles Teller inFantastic Four(2015), Ioan Gruffudd inFantastic Four(2005) and its sequel,Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer(2007), and Alex Hyde-White inThe Fantastic Four(1994).
