During Chapter 6 of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, you’re given a choice between following Astridr or Fargrimr down two separate paths to keep them safe from the dangerous woods. So should you choose to help either Astridr or Fargrimr inSenua’s Saga Hellblade 2?
Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2: Should you help Astridr or Fargrimr?
On the way to Borgarvirki during Chapter 6, Senua and her companions must travel through a forest that is typically one you’d avoid on your travels. You immediately get lost within this forest and soon find Astridr and Fargrimr, except they’re on two separate paths. You’re told that it’s best to help one of them, but how consequential is this choice? In the end,it doesn’t matter if you choose to help either Astridr or Fargrimrin Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2.
Upon making it to this decision you’re given this choice with two forks in the road and each companion standing on either of them. The game makes you believe that choosing one companion to help could be a consequential decision that ends up harming the other person, but that’s far from the truth. After choosing to walk with Astridr, it only took a bit of walking to realize thatboth paths converged on each otherand you end up meeting Fargrimr on the other side.

My guess is that if I chose Fargrimr, the man you rescued back inChapter 2, the same result would happen and I’d see Astridr on the other side. So while the game makes you think something bad could happen due to your choice, nothing bad happens in the slightest. While this is good for the sake of wanting my friends alive and well, I was hoping to have my choice mean something.
After meeting up on the other side you soon find Thorgestr as well, but all of your companions look to have been through something. Senua is pretty much fine, so the woods really weren’t much of an obstacle in the end. Luckily, you also won’t run into any dangerous enemies, such as those foes who like toblow fireat you.
