‘Fast & Furious’ star Vin Diesel has starred in 7 superhero movies throughout his career. Here’s how they rank against each other.
Taking to Instagram, Diesel shared a “throwback” image of himself sporting the glorious long hair and beard of the movie’s main character, and immortal witch hunter, Kaulder. Pairing the image with the simple caption, “Kaulder…,” it’s obvious that the actor is teasing the return ofThe Last Witch Hunterfranchise. A franchise that, while now largely forgotten, carries a lot of potential for further adventures.

Released back in 2015,The Last Witch Huntertakes inspiration from a character that Diesel himself made for his personalDungeons & Dragonscampaign. The fantasy action outing centers on Kaulder, an ancient knight who manages to slay the all-powerful Witch Queen some 800 years ago. But, before her death, she curses the warrior with her own immortality, separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. Picking up with Kaulder in the modern world, the Witch Queen’s resurrection now threatens the survival of the human race as Kaulder, the only one of his kind remaining, faces her vengeful wrath.
