Xbox is finally bringing the original Gears of War to modern consoles, all remastered with support for multiplayer and much higher frame rates and resolution than the original. Gears of War: Reloaded is only a few hours from its launch on platforms including PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 5.

Gears of War Reloaded Release Date Timer
Gears of War: Reloaded launches on PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5 onAugust 26orAugust 27, 2025, depending on your region, at8 AM PDT. I’ve set up a countdown timer since Gears of War: Reloaded is getting a simultaneous global launch.

Gears of War Reloaded Pricing and Release Date
Gears of War: Reloadedreleases onAugust 26, 2025, for$39.99SRP on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, PlayStation 5, and Steam. It’s also coming to Xbox Game Pass, and if you have the subscription, you’ll get it day one.
Gears of War Reloaded Pre-Load
Currently, Gears of War: Reloaded is only available to pre-load on Xbox consoles, Microsoft Store, and PS5 users. It isn’t available to pre-load on Steam, at least not yet. With only 18 hours to launch, as of writing, I doubt it will be available for Steam.
